Measurements were taken on baseline day and every day throughout the study per each athlete’s schedule. The best lift during the study was used for the comparison. Each athlete was required to maintain their normal dietary and training patterns during the study.
The Creatine Monohydrate group showed an average increase over baseline of 8.39% for the snatch, clean & jerk, high snatch, & back squat.
The Kre-Alkalyn group showed an average increase over baseline of 10.76%.

No significant changes in body weight for either the Creatine Monohydrate group or the Kre-Alkalyn group were noted due to the strict dietary restrictions the test subjects were required to follow during their Olympic training.
It is extremely difficult for high-caliber Olympic-level athletes to produce considerable improvements in their muscular performance in such a short time-frame. A 10.76% increase for elite athletes is considered to be a SIGNIFICANT gain.

My name is John Schiessl. I am 57 years old. I started lifting weights when I was 13 and I've never stopped. I am still a competitive Power Lifter. I hold 18 California State USAPL records and I held an American Squat record for a while. My best competition lifts are a 545 lb squat, a 335 bench and a 501 deadlift, all in the 181 lb weight division.
